Thom Macfarlane should run for Federal Way City Council

by christruppner

Last year during the 2012 Election for State House of Representatives voters were introduced to a candidate by the name of Thom Macfarlane. Voters got to watch as this candidate showcased his role as a very loving, caring, and involved member of the greater Federal Way community. From donating his time in schools, to addressing tough issues such as the lack of adequate mental healthcare for our veterans and citizens alike, Thom fought the good fight.

Despite many good hearted attempts to win voters Thom Macfarlane went on to lose the State House of Representatives election in the Primary. Despite his loss the Federal Way Mirror went on to say that Macfarlane would make a good candidate for future election. In May 2013, three Federal Way city council seats will become available for election. Given Macfarlane’s past record it is my deepest belief that Mr. Macfarlane should consider running for the Federal Way City Council. In his last election he became a well known for his community contributions, his role in helping people find work, and as an overall well-rounded candidate. I am asking that Thom Macfarlane enter the race for Federal Way City Council.
